Hi, I have a Neff dishwasher with model nr S54M45X0GB/36 which is playing up.
It was installed about 11 years ago and never given a problem. Now it won’t finish a cycle, I’ve cleaned the filters, tried the reset function and done several cycles but each time it seems to be running at like warm and not finishing the cycle on time.
We’ve also tried interrupting the cycle and there is water left in the machine but not as hot as usual.
The pump seems clear but the pump wheel turns but will not spin completely freely.
before I call someone out, does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem may be?
    any help much appreciated.

    Sounds like it’s not heating.

common problem on these early units is bad solder joint on the heater relay inside the timer

    ignor the pump that’s normal

    Cheers Dave
thanks for the advice, I’ll need to get someone to take a look, however as we are in lockdown in wales I’ve got to wait as dishwashers are not apparently critical items! Not sure the Mrs and kids agree, I’ll update this with solution in due course.

yes wales has always had a mind of its own .my sis lives there snd not seen her since April

you could look for an engineer here

I did not do dishwasher or dryer during first lock down but am stll looking at the moment. Not sure if its all engineers in wales will think the same as rules are down to individual interpretation
