    Hi All.

I hope this find you safe and well

I wonder if someone might help me, or at least point me in the right direction please.
    Here are the details;
    Wine cooler and freezer
    SWTNes 3010 Index 22D/001
    Service no: 9986182-04
    Serial: 27.686.711.6

My freezer started alarming on Sunday evening. The temperature was set to -18 and was showing that on the display. I didn’t have much in the freezer, so took out what was in there and put it in my other freezer. I cleared the alarm and all was good. I checked Monday morning and the alarm was going again, but the freezer display showed -5.
I turned off the freezer on the main control panel and left over the course of the day to defrost. I defrosted the freezer compartment fully. The drip tray on top of the compressor was full, so i soaked the excess up.
I turned the appliance on over night, Monday with, Superfrost on, but it has not cooled at all. There are two dashes where the -18 would usually display.
The freezer still feels warm inside.
The compressor seems to be working, as its getting hot and making noise.

I also turned on the wine cooler section, but that has not got cold either. Presume that works off the freezer part?

Any advice would be gladly taken.

    Best regards

    Dave

I’m no expert! But I have learned a bit while fixing my Liebherr fridge freezer!
If the compressor is running then the electrical side sounds ok, thermostat is calling.
The compressor has two pipes out, one is going to go to the condenser grille (high side) on the back of the unit, this should be warm coming out of the compressor, the other pipe is the return which should be cold.
If neither pipe is hot/cold then either the refrigerant has leaked or the compressor has failed.
