Morning all, I’m sat here recovering from Covid lucky haven’t had it as bad as some but it does hit you. Thinking how this industry has changed since I started working in 1984 I didn’t realise how good it was back then. I was wondering what are others thoughts on the future of the trade and are there any good new opportunities out there?
hope your covid episode get better soon and does not leave you with other symptoms. just been offered my jab next wed so we are moving forward out of this albeit slowly
one of the hopes on the horizon is the right to repair legislation. Although an EU law its unlikely the manufacturers will make machine different in the uk. Hopefully forcing manufacturers to make machine more environmentally freindly and tech info more accessible for the trade. It could lead to more work in the long term but could be 5 to 10 years before it come online and i might well have given up by then
