My Logik LCD8W18 dryer has just stopped working. When I choose the program and press start it runs for approx 30 seconds and then stops, beeps and the 3h and 9h lights flash. I tried to get a repair done through Curry’s where I purchased it but its like getting blood from a stone at this stage. So I’m looking to see if anyone has any idea what the fault with my dryer might be so I’ll know if it’s fixable. I’d rather not pay someone to tell me it cant be fixed and then gave to go buy a new dryer anyway.
dont know what the fault is because it a currys brand machine so therfore technical support is almost impossible
you could try one thing, from the picture of the element i can see a thermal cutout with a manual reset. uplug machine, remove the rear cover and gently press this button. If it goes click then you have just reset it
make sure the condensor and filters are clean and see how it goesif it trips again you within a short time you may need to source replacement stats if available
