ParticipantI’ve had a few of these integrated washer dryers recently where they are completely dead. Seem to have power to the display board but no display. They have 3 boards, display board, power board and motor inverter board. I’ve never had a customer go for a repair until now so suspecting it to be the display board but possibly the power board so I ordered both from connect. The motor board only seems to be directly for the motor. Fitted the display board, still dead. Fitted power board, still dead. Now either it’s the motor board that’s the problem (doesn’t make sense to me) or I have 1 or 2 faulty new boards. What’s concerning about Beko boards from connect I find is that they always come in unsealed boxes. Although on inspection they do look unused.
Any ideas please?
Thanks

ModeratorIf its a washer dryer it more than likely is main board

ParticipantI would check the main board – common issue here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/trade-member-forums/trade-technical-spare-parts-forums/trade-technical-enquiries/48638-simple-pcb-repair-tips?p=861267#post861267

ParticipantI’ve had similar issues. Two out of the last four I’ve seen have been the fascia module the other two I didn’t get to find out as there were no stock of the main board (wish I had seen the diode trick). I too have had poorly packaged modules from Connect in fact one of the fascia modules I have in stock at the mo was in a right state when I got it & I can’t trust that it’s ok, the problem is I never got time to send it back, stupid I know!!

ParticipantSo it turns out I had the wrong power board. My part number ended in 30 not 31. This board looks identical but doesn’t have the diode talked about. I replaced the diode on the old board and it’s all up and running now.
What a simple repair. Thanks for the help everyone. Can’t wait to do another one now.Subs
