My hotpoint washing machine has recently been moved and is now leaking from underneath. I have checked all the hoses etc at the back and it appears to leak on the finaL spin. I have lifted it up to have a look underneath and it seems to be leaking from two little plastic buttons (sorry for being so untechnical). Its not under guarantee anymore so I am really hoping someone can offer some words of help and advice. 😀

Tricky one to figure from the info given “two little plastic buttons?” 🙁

Where are they located specifically? A leak on final spin could even mean there is a split in the front door seal. Closer inspection with the power off the only advise I can give. We could well have a local independant in your area who could sort it for you here: Repairs@

Thanks for the quick response. I’m just waiting for my husband to get back, hopefully he could shed some more light on ‘the two plastic buttons’ !

Will post back shortly. Obviously, if we can’t get to the bottom of it I will contact repair as you suggest. 😀

Two plastic buttons could be the pump.

Doesn’t the WMA have a ‘clip-on’ pump? With a fitting that looks like ‘two plastic buttons’?

When appliances get moved, sometimes parts get smashed, and hoses get ripped off other parts. 🙁

I emailed @repairs and I’ve got a guy coming round this afternoon to take a look and hopefully will have an answer to the problem later. Many thanks. 😆
