I have a Neff T63R46S0 hob that is broken and needs replaced. Neff no longer make this model and the Neff engineer is unable to get the required replacement parts.
The hob is integrated on a wooden worktop and I am hoping to replace it with one at least as big to avoid exposing any damaged/untreated wood. The dimensions of this hob are H59mm x W710mm x D536mm. I am really struggling to find a hob that’s at least 536mm in depth- can anyone advise? Brand not too important, but black would be preferable. Thanks in advance.what part was not available as looking down the spares list most things seem to be available
also according to Neff your hob is not that big in depth

Thanks for replying- the engineer says the burners are unavailable. Not sure about that diagram you’ve attached as it doesn’t seem to have the brushed chrome bar at the bottom of the hob. I have attached a pdf link of the hob – cheers

Dave’s picture is generic 😉 The good news is your 710mm wide and 520mm deep has the same footprint as a 60cm hob.
Neff 75cm hobs here will fit as long as clearances are maintained.
Compare you’re spec to this one attached.

Hi Don, thanks for the link. My issue is that if I replace my 536mm-depth hob with a 520mm-depth hob, I’m going to expose 16mm of untreated wooden worktop which will look really bad. However, one of the Neff’s in your link, https://www.neff-home.com/uk/productlist/hobs/gas-hobs/T27TA69N0, has a depth of 546mm so that will solve the problem. Unfortunately and needless to say it’s the most expensive one! 🙂

Hey Dave, thanks again for getting back, I’ve decided just to go for a new hob entirely, selecting the T27TA69N0 as advised by Don. The original issue with my hob is the burners were no longer igniting. To replace the ignition parts the engineer had to unscrew the burners but the screws were not for budging, so he was going to have to drill the screws, which risked cracking the glass. And even then he couldn’t guarantee the burners would be usable. So potentially I was going to have to buy igniters, burners and the glass top – and he couldn’t source the burners. All in he thought it wasn’t worth the risk / cost (hob is over 10 years old now) hence why I opted for a brand new unit, and fortunately I have now sourced a suitable-sized one thanks to yourself and Don. Thanks again for all your help.
