    Dear Forum,

    On the apartment I rent there is a Indesit Washing machine on an old state. Our clothes sometimes came out with a bad smell, and we started to use Oxygen bleach to help. Recently we opened some parts, and Inside we found mould, probably from previous tenants, and it is rusty in several parts.
    How old is it ? I red that the life of an Indesit washing machine is 7/8 years.
    The serial number is 010083410.

    Landlord, after we asked assistance for the mould found, said that it was our fault for not using it properly, (we are in this apartment 3 years) but the only thing we did is to …wash clothes, using also high temperatures!

    Going by this post – https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/public-support-forums/help-and-support/washing-machine-help-forum/92570-manufacture-date-for-a-hotpoint-washing-machine – it’s either 2000 or 2010. More likely 2010 I would think.
    Where did you find mould, as if it’s in the dispenser drawer its not unusual and just needs a good clean.

    Thank you. The machine looks quite old, how can I exctly know the year? 2010 or 2000

    thank you, there are more detaiils of the Indesit washing machine, , I hope an expert can tell me the daate it was produced/bought.
