Please help i am pulling my hair out over this, My Hoover 1100 Special Edition when washing or rinsing keeps filling and filling and will not stop. I have heard something about cleaning the Water Sensor but have no idea what it looks like or where it is.
Hi.
Model number, or we’re all going to waste each others time.
The water level is controlled by the displacement of air in a bottle. Depending on your machine, you may be looking at this getting choked up; on the lated Hoover/Candy machines you will probably be looking at the air hose being chaffed through at some point around the drum.
Pull the plug before investigating further……… :plug:
Ok then it is not a problem to sort, in most case if not all it is indeed due to the water level sensing tube that gets punctured against the drum and requires replacing (Not an expensive job, though on this model a little tricky even for us experts)
I would say that as it is NOT a DIY job but would advise contacting a local independent in your area. Just pop your postcode via this link to see if we have a company in your neck of the woods : –Repairs@
