    Hi, when I switch my dryer on it keeps tripping the main switch in the electric box, I have tried moving it and plugging it into a different socket but it keeps doing the same thing.

    Hi Don, it is a Hoover and the model number is HLC8LG-80.

    There is a number of things this can be it needs to be tested with a meter
