    Hi all,
I have a Whirlpool WWDC9440 which is 6 years old. It keeps throwing up an F06 fault code and I am running out of ideas as to what is causing it. When the machine is empty the drum will turn and go through a program, but stick a sock in it and it stops. I have checked the bushes, they were only replaced last year, lots of meat on them. The belt seems fine. I have checked the continuity of the motor also seems fine. What else can I check? Where should I go from here? Is it just a knackered motor or control panel?
    many thanks
    Ruth

Would there be excess play in the pulley or what? It seemed ok when I had the belt on and off last week, but I was focused on the motor at that point. Its such an intermittent fault its driving me insane. I had it doing a small wash today no problems but then I did a slightly bigger one and it washed ok but didn’t spin argh!

Lol you’re absolutely right, stupid auto correct, definitely not bushes! Although perhaps if there was a couple of privets or maybe a nice hydrangea in there I might have more luck fixing it!
