Samsung American Fridge Freezer Model RSH1DBBP, Manufactured 2007

Hi, yesterday water stopped dispensing from my Samsung with no warning or previous issues. Not filter as it’s external and recently changed. Disconnected the outgoing water pipe from the double inlet valve and when pressing dispense for water the valve is passing water. I’ve uncoupled the water line at the front, under the feet covering, and can blow air up and out the dispenser nozzle. I’m unable to do this through the line after the valve to the break at the front though.

Guessing the line might be frozen though there is no sign of any low gas issues or irregularities in the fridge or freezer. Can only guess what route the line takes through the machine to cool it as I only have a user manual which obviously doesn’t show any schematics.

Do these do scheduled programmed defrosts ? I have notes from an Engineer that attended about 10 yr ago about how to go into the prog and start a manual defrost.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

In the fridge behind the veg boxes is a precooling tank for the water, this is most likely frozen.

Thanks Samuri, got it, job done ! Hidden in plain sight : Annoyingly inlet and outlet pipes aren’t push fit , seemed to be glued in to the tank so had to just unscrew it and drop in a bucket of hot water, which worked. I should have thought of the tank , similar to freestanding water coolers, but I guess I discounted that as I didn’t see where there was space but of course it’s elongated and flat against the back wall. Just need to see if the problem reoccurs but I’ve bumped the temp from 3c up to 4c and just need to make sure I run off some water each day. Thanks again.
