Just received a new BEKO Dishwasher (DFN16X21W). The display is very dim…hardly see it at all. Is there a cunning set of button pushes I should do to brighten it. Thanks all.

Not that I am aware of, there is nothing in the manual either.

It’s either a fault or the location of appliance is in a sunny or very bright part of the kitchen.

If none of the above I would send a photo of the dispay to Beko customer care asking the question.

Thanks Don…there is a mention of display brightness in other manuals but not how to change it. Also if the child lock is on, the display is supposed to dim, but I can’t find out how to enter/leave the child lock facility or if indeed this model has it.Just have to set the program when it’s dark!

OK …. the beko manual is useless… I received my Beko DVN04320B two day ago.
I worked out that there are three rows of 4 indicators from top to bottom.. Mine is very very dim so you may have to look closely>
Left row is for salt and rinse aid / middle row is for delayed timer and child lock / right row is the info on the washing cycle
Right row display show in position 1 on/off
right row position 2 show wash in progress
right row postion 3 shows dry cycle in progress
right row postion 4 wash has completed.
I dont understand why they send us such crap with the machines we buy .
