I have just had delivered anIndesit Aria IDU 6340 IX double oven.
It appears to be a “built-under” rather than a “built-in”, ie. it has it’s own set of legs to sit on the floor rather than be fitted into a housing.
    I have a housing…
Is there a simple modification I can do to enable it to fit into the housing?
I can remove the feet, but the insulation is loose underneath and would prevent it from sliding in without catching.
    Anybody have any ideas?

Sadly it is designed as a built under, removing the leg set will definately invalidate your guarantee. Not only that but the main oven door IIRC would hit the shelf in the housing. Built in ovens have a bottom lip to overcome this.

What size aperture do you have in your housing? Is it 89cm or 60cm tall?

I would have thought the best way forward is to contact the retailer, be warned there could be a restocking fee and also return carriage costs if it was an online retailer!

Thanks Dom. Returning was my 1st thought, then restocking fee and carriage would have been cheaper to buy another one!
I’ve just gone with removing the base of the housing. Gone in perfectly, just needs levelling up now.
    Thanks.
