Stops during cycle and flashes LED lights 1 and 3.

HFT 114 – Dishwasher (Hotpoint)

Hello, I am enquiring about my dishwasher. Model number is mentioned in bold text.

Every cycle, it either stops midway or between midway and ending. Rather than the three beeps to alert of a successful finished wash, it just beeps and then when I open the door, I look on the control panel to two LED lights flashing. (1 and 3).

So far I have tried,

• Washing filters including mesh filter in warm soapy water and letting them soak for a while
• Boiled water in a kettle and pouring in dishwasher salt into the dishwasher around the hole in the middle and washing it with said, boiled water (plunged afterwards with plunger)
• Dishwasher cleaner
• Using my fingers to try and dislodge any fat of some kind in the pump hole (if that is the name of the small gap where the water retreats)

I have read that it could be a circulation pump or pressure switch error but how would I be able to tell if this was the case?

Does anyone have advice or some ideas of how I can proceed from my current position?

Pots mostly are clean and dry, I get heat. On the odd occasion, pots are still wet, whilst still flashing 1 and 3.
