    Hello,
Some years ago, I worked as a white goods repair guy and despite not having done so since 2013, I still get called upon by family and friends. This is one of those occaisions and I’m hoping some smart guy on here can help with the following.
My brother has a Beko WMB 81241 LB. He text me and said it was E10 and as he’d looked the error up, a door lock fault. I got there and the control panel was not responsive. No E10. Moving the selector dial did not change the display which looked to be stuck in a programme, yet the machine was doing nothing.
I looked up how to put it into a test routine and after a few attempts I was able to do so. The last known error was indeed E10, however the test routine would not progress to the next part. Nothing, just all the lights on the disaply.
Now, I did look at the lock but I’m wondering if this is more to do with the control panel itself?
To recap, the selector dial turns but the diaply does not change. The display seems to be stuck in a programme with about 30 mins left, yet it is doing nothing. The programme cannot be cancelled off at the control board with a long press of the correct button. A test routine did not go any further than displaying the E10 and then all the display lights.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

E10 comes up as door lock triac short circuit

and Beko’s answer is change board and retry
