Belling – BEL BI602F- Brand New only clock working

Hi,

Just seeing if someone can advise me to see if I’m missing something stupid , I have just bought a new electric oven BEL BI602F from what I read this can be mains wired or on a plug, I have connected a 13 amp plug to the cooker and have tried to plug it into a socket with a standard 2.5mm 240v cable and also a cooler socket which has a 6mm cable, both produce the same results only the clock will flash on the oven and you can set it , no functions on the cooker work at all , not even the light when inturn the dial ? And I’m missing something very obvious or does this sound like a fault ? I have just registered my 12 month guarantee. Thanks
sorry I’ve now fixed it need to hold the middle button to go into manual mode !
