Hopefully there is a NEFF technician out here that can help with this. I bought a NEFF double oven from an auction site that is ex-display. The oven came with a plug on it so I presume it has been in a showroom as a demonstrator. I have wired the oven in but it does not heat up. It does power on and you can set clock and change any of the functions shown in the manual e.g. childlock, clock display, fan duration etc, so I presume that it is in demonstrator/safety mode. The manual for this model I downloaded does not explain how to turn off demo/safety mode. Any help with this would be appreciated

I have known manufacturers disconnect elements for display purposes. You may need to have an engineer in to make sure everything is still connected. Did the oven come with any form of guarantee?

cant find user manual as Enr number incomplete

what i did get from a few others is its only possible to turn off display mode in the first 3 mins after switch on

see if its got a factory reset mode, if yes turn off for 10 mins and try to do it within 3 mins after switch on

its even just in the 2 year warranty from new

neff dont list owners manual so i cant see how the controls work

i would take the back off to see if they have disconnected element

failing that give Neff customer service a ring, dont say you have got it like that just say it just happened and see how it goes
