My machine has decided it only wants to run one step of a wash programme at a time. For a full wash/rinse/spin cycle, it does the wash, then all the lights come on on the machine as if the programme had not started. To get it to rinse I have to turn to the rinse cycle and press Start again. Then once it’s rinsed the rinse and spin lights come on and it sits there waiting again. I have to turn the dial round to spin to finish the programme. It’s as if the logic to tell the machine to turn to the next stage of the cycle is resetting at the end of a stage and it wants to start again. The machine fills and empties OK, and as far as I can tell the water is heating OK.

What do you think could be the problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Darren

I think you’ve got it yourself there – computer board has lost the plot.
Part number is 1604201 – an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.com will sort out pricing and availibility.

As this is likely to be a high value component which will require configuring in order to function correctly, a professional repair may well be your best option. Check repairs@ or Directories for a UKW repairer in your area.

Module for this one now listed as 1604321. Would agree with P45. Best to get it checked out, so many different things can cause these type of errors.

If the pump airlocks it can cause this fault the flap valve in the pump can stay shut due to gunge or if plumbed into spigot under sink this causes also, if it has flap valve remove it the control module very rarely causes this fault 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time all lights on are pump related.
