    Does it sound like my heating element has gone.
    My missus was cooking something in the main oven and when she went to check on it she noticed the oven was off and the electric meter had tripped so I reset the electric meter and tried the oven but it’s not heating up but the rest of the cooker is working

    Yes, most likely the element is at fault.

    I removed the heating element and it has two splits so I tested for resistance and continuity and i’m not getting a reading. The element I removed is 2000W and part number 2035583 so is the element you posted in the link still the correct one.

    That is the one listed by the maker for that model for sure, there’s not nay other I can see.
