Anyone come across one of these One touch machines?

Customer reports erratic behaviour ever since they moved to their new house: works on and off, unresponsive buttons, gets confused as to what cycle it’s on, beeps randomly, shows various displays on the screen.

They thought something happened to it during the move.

As that sounded to me like an electronics fault, I asked where they kept the machine in the new house and lo and behold, it’s in the cellar.

Advised it probably doesn’t like the damp, but anyone come across something similar caused by something else?
