New member and looks like I have came to the right place!

I have a Bosch Classixx6 washing machine, yesterday it was making a funny noise then tripped all my electrics, after resetting the (house) switch board it came back to life albeit with a flashing start button….I drained it using the manual drain point at front and followed the reset procedure, this allowed me to cycle through all the programs, spin speed etc, but when i push the start button it stays lit for a few seconds then flashes a few times then stays lit again and so on but does not start the cycle. Any ideas?

The main motor carbon brushes would be the first thing to check. Sadly it’s not unknown for damage to occur to the main pcb when something like the motor brushes cause the circuit breaker to trip.:(
