Fan motor part number (long shaft) 501001156
Can anyone help? Seems that this part is rather elusive…

i would check but this is the one i think it is
beware this company if your lucky you get 30 days warranty but most likely you have none, so make sure you check it over the minute it gets to you .

I think he knows this hence he called me to fix it. Turns out that “they” offered him alternative fan motor which has a short shaft. He tried to make it fit and he did this by swapping parts over by reusing the long shaft onto the new body which obviously made it worse. S-Zone says that the long shaft is 7-8 weeks order. Now it is a question of what shall I say to him… without saying that I strongly recommend a well known brand electrical heating item…
there is no easy answer. if we knew more about the motor we may be able to find the same motor somewhere else. we would need to know the shaft length above all else
i think the possible 8 weeks wait for a part with no guarentee should put him off buying odd branded products
just suggest he replaces it with a known main brand that way spares. if needed, would not be a problem. Also tell him to research guarentees as some model give 2 years, albeit needing to be registered but others only have 1
