No fan no heat and no light. The clock works and is set correctly. any help please

ParticipantIs the timer definitely set for manual cooking, as that would stop the bottom oven from working?

ParticipantI have checked the timer and clock and it is set for manual cooking

Moderatorthe clock is still the first and easiest thing to try
try turning off at the wall. wait a few munutes, then turn back on and reset clock time etc
see what happens
if not that it gets more complex as an internal component has probably failed

ParticipantThe cooker was switched off at the wall over night I reset the clock this morning and tried the oven on timed and manual cooking and it didn’t work.

Moderatorwell from here it depends on your skill level as the oven would have to be opened and the internal components inspected and tested to find the cause

ParticipantLovely, I’m ok with DIY but don’t really know what I’m looking for to find a fault with internal cooker parts

Moderatorfirst thing i would check would be the switch which is below the knob. look for burnt out contacts
problem is it look like it may no be to easy to access on that model

ParticipantThank you I will check that, on another forum It was suggested to check the terminal block is this something that can cause this, I would of thought that if it was this then nothing would work.

its worth a look, every circuit in the cooker is fed off the block. if the wire to the oven has failed it wont work
although i say its worth a look i think the clock would have gone off as well
