Hi, I have a Beko CFD5834APS fridge freezer and 3 days ago all the veg in the fridge froze solid and had to be thrown out, it never done this before, i defrosted it but it keeps doing to same. I took the control knob off and replaced the thermostat board ? but it seems to be the same despite being on minimum. Had a look at the back and everything looks ok and nothing blocked, the door seal is intact but not loads of vacuum when opening the door, cant see any gaps.
Any ideas on what is causing this please ?
Is that little control board under the control knob I replaced the actual thermostat ??

    Thanks

most likely the temp sensor which in this and a lot of units is attached to the evaporator before the foam insulation is added. This makes it hard to change and the manufacturer does not supply it as a spare
some people have managed to find a similar sensor and fit it by cutting a hole in the insulation and then re faoming it

Ok thanks for the reply, do you think I should just cut my losses and buy a new fridge freezer then ?
    Cheers

these units were made from 2012 to 2017 so at best its 4 years old and worst its 9

you would need a fridge engineer who has tried this fix before to be able to do it

so yes sadly its probably more cost effective to change it and get a full warranty
