    Hi,

One of my kids has accidently pulled off a sensor located in the roof of the freezer; It is contained within a cover marked as “sensitive cool”

Unfortunately the wires have seperated clean from the sensor and unable to re attach.

    What does this sensor do?

Can i replace with this part?

Genuine Beko LEISURE Fridge Freezer Temperature Sensor 4216600385

And am i able to just cut the wire and solder on to the existing wire connection (adding shrink wrap over the solder), or do i need to figure out a way of getting the new sensor wire to the back of the fridge? Having a quick look and i can’t see an obvious way to plug the sensor in without removing the whole fridge freezer
