I am trying to replace the quartz elements on my Panasonic NN-A574SBBPQ combi microwave. The replacement elements don’t have a spade connector at both ends like the original. I understand it uses a connector bar instead to join the two elements. However also the end of the element is a different shape to the original so won’t fit into the bracket. Has anyone come across this problem and found a solution. Thank you.

first off are you certain you have the correct part ?

what part number have you been sent ?

did a quick check and one of my main suppliers shows your element obsolete

The part number I was sent is Z630G7X50BP. I presume it isn’t the right part if the correct one is obsolete.

    Thanks

I would say yes its not correct. unless you can fit them mechanically, if yes then the electric connections could be sorted but if they dont fit then your sunk

unless you can find a scrap microwave on ebay with a good grill element ( bit of a tall order )
