Hello,
Just wondered if anyone here is a washing machine engineer and wanted to know if liqui tabs should be avoided? I ask this question because i wanted to know if the casing the liquid is wrapped in does any long term harm to the washing machine and that they are genuinely 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} water soluble. And lastly what is the best detergent currently on market?
I always do a maintenance wash at 90C once every 3 months with Dr Beckmann Service it and so my machine is spotlessly clean.
liquitabs should be fine as long as the wash is long enough to allow them to disolve. if they did not disolve they could not sell them

As with all iquid detergents there is no bleach so contant use of a non bleach detergent on low tamp washes can cause mould and bacteria build upAs for the best detergent,l that always a difficult one, If you stick to the big names then you are noramlly getting a better product but its never 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

[USER=”4209″]electrofix[/USER] Out of the own brands what do you find is good? I am pretty pleased with Splosh detergents and find the cleaning performance. I use Astonish for wool and silk. What you make out the laundry cleansers like Dettol? Are they a gimmick or do they really disinfect laundry such as underwear?
problem is with these things unless you have someone who has used the same powder or liquid forever you not going to know. The only people who have that sort of data is the manufacturers
in my opinion I like Aerial poweder for whites but thats me and someone else might have a different opinion. I was told by someone who worked for a manufacturer that Tesco own brand did reasonably well
As for Splosh, never heard of it
laundry cleansers well a good wash in a good detergent is just as good and we can go too far with being clean. There is a school of thought that things like asthma is more common because we are too cleanDave
We use Lidl’s own brand Bio and non-Bio powders and find both do a perfectly decent job. We use non-bio for my son’s washing as he suffers from bad eczema. I know there are different schools of thought on that, but we are just following the advice of his consultant dermatologist. 🙂
[USER=”18369″]tubafan[/USER] i always used to be a Persil person but find the cleaning performance no better than own brand plus i don’t like the fragrances. I find with a lot of branded detergents you need at least 6 rinses to get rid of all the detergent whereas own brand seems to rinse out better.
