Looks like the thermal fuse on the heater duct was to blame.
Does anyone have a part number for this?
I’ve looked on Connect but it doesn’t list the full model number and the part shown for just “3RLEQ8000” is the wrong shape. The one on the machine is rectangular.
Searching for “Whirlpool thermal fuse” brings up the 5031681018133 (among other things) which is rated at 91ºC whereas the above wiring diagram shown with 2 blue wires connected, it’s rated at what appears to be T96ºC.
