    Perhaps it doesn’t need one as the ISE spec says : Three water safety features including “smart fill”, “water inlet cut off” and “bottom plate”

    Off topic yes, but to satisfy your curiosity…

    If you add that to be effective you also need the electrical anti-flood hose, additional electronics and components and that would push the price up by over £100. Added to which it adds multiple potential failure points and the benefit of such a system is questionable.
