Oh, for heavens sake, Martin. We have a UKW position on service washes – use a whites bio powder and a boil wash. We know it works, so why and start another debate based on flawed logic and chemistry, this time in a Public Forum?

As I said, whatever works for the individual is fine, even if it is a placebo in the view of others. Penguin has his way of dealing with a problem which works for him, others approach it from another angle. I say potato & all that.

Let’s not argue any further & just agree to different points of view. We all want the same thing after all in that to impart our knowledge & experience on others who want it.

    Good luck all.

Well for what its worth from my point of view, looked at logically proctor and gamble don’t make soda crystals!!therefore would hardly advise anyone to use it instead of their own products.

both myself and my mate work on loads of machines which are cleaned with soda crystals and they are in good order for something which doesn’t work, bearing in mind colchester is a very hard water area.

    each to their own thoughts.

    How very true 🙂

And it’s always nice to share information and experiences so others can learn from it. I’m not sure I’m guilty of inviting debate after merely making a statement, but as Bruce say’s “each to their own thoughts!” 😀

And another statement from me (if I may? 😉 ) is that our good friend Andy_art_Trigg does have interesting comments via his own web site and through the moneysavingexpert.com forums on this very subject.

    All good stuff. 8)
