If I remember the hall right there should only be one bar..
I think that should be a suitable place to meet up

if you plan to arrive around 0930 we will all be ushered into the same car park, which seems a good starting point. There is usually a booth where you can “pay” for your parking, try looking out for the ugly scots one around 0945, he’ll be with two shady looking geezers 8)

There is normally a floor plan at the entrance when you book in giving the layout. Why don`t we say 1.00pm ish at the bar as R600 says.

If I get there I will give Dave a ring.
Apart from the eaterie or bar, I will be mainly around the DAD/Gillmans Stand.

Been today is about all I can say. If thats the best they can do, its sparse and poor at best.
Company was good though and the food in the eatery was excellent, well done the caterers……..

I think well done to those who put on the show, what a pity it was undersubscribed by the retailers and traders. It wasn’t a Sunday wasted, but I may think otherwise another year.
A lot of effort and money was put up for this, and everything was there except the visitors.
Maybe Monday & Tuesday will have a better attendance? I’d like to think so, otherwise there is a risk of it not being repeated.
Perhaps another year try and hold it somewhere where there are other attractions, or in conjuction with something else.

It seems (my impression) that previous years crowds when it went under another name were down to the “brown” side of the industry.
Just an observation…where were Electrolux/Zanussi, Servis, to name but two. I personally think that those who displayed are to be praised, however if this is an industry show the organisers have to attract “most” of the industry, not todays showing.

KeymasterFor those of you that missed this, fell asleep or couldn’t be bothered I’ve uploaded a few photos of the event. They’re in the Gallery now and it’s probably the first reports of the event right here, thanks to Kevin and Alex. However after driving for abut 9 hours todayin total, attending the event, re-sizing the pics and watermarking them, eating dinner at 11pm at my desk sat uploading pictures I’m afraid that the scribblings about the AMDEA show are going to have to wait till tomorrow.
If it’d been a UKW meet I may have put in a bit more effort, but, well… you know… 😉
