2nd million hits in 5 months roughly crunches to 6500 per day, sounds about right.
So anyone brave enough to predict the 5 million mark?

Yeah Alex, can’t win ’em all I’m afraid, but there are a lot of new people using the site so best just to let it happen.
I think I may even have a small celebratory glass of a rather nice borboun this evening sent to me last week by a very nice man (Ian) and his good lady (Alma) which arrived on Thursday afternoon after a really, really cr@p day and it was very, very welcome at the time. In fact the bottle’s arrival was most uncanny in it’s timing and was the only thing that put a smile on my face the whole day. Funny old world at times. 😕
My thanks again to Ian & Alma for the nice surprise and I’ll toast one to you both and the results in a little while.

Note to self… remember to learn how to spell borboun and I should know, I’ve looked at a bottle or two in my time. 😕
It’s a nice bottle of Knob Creek (no sniggering :lol:) which I rather like. But to be fair I’ve yet to find a proper malt (hate blends) rye or Kentucky Borboun that I don’t like. Wild Turkey, rough but great, Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark etc., I like ’em all.
But when you get into the real stuff, the Scottish Malts, it can quickly become a very expensive evening. For my 30th, which coincided with a good friend’s 30th we sat and scoffed a bottle of 30year old malt, not a cheap evening albeit delightfully pleasant! I didn’t even mind the hangover for that one. 😆

How about the 6 million mark in the first week of December 2005?
Which is just utterly staggering, who would have thought that there was this much interest in our poky little industry, but there you have it.
