    The “hot” part of the circuit, as in the heating element etc will be seperate from the water heating parts for the wash scycle, they are though, both controlled by the same pcb unit.

    No, they should be seperate if it’s a condensor washer dryer and it’s unlikely not to be.

    Wash heat from the bottom, dry heat from the top.
