    Hi Martyn

    Thanks for the reply.

I wanted to find where the thermistor was for my own curiosity (sanity), but also for others who have the same problem. Good idea to fit a new one in a new location though, where we would have expected it to be!

I removed the thermistor plug and injected a signal, then traced it through the interior. I lose the signal on the lower right side of the compartment, and I can’t trace it anywhere on the rear of the compartment. They couldn’t have sandwiched it between the fridge / freezer compartments surely?!

I’m in half a mind to strip the whole b****y thing apart to find the damn thing

    Machineage,

Maybe they did. If it’s on the top of the freezer, I can see the air temperature in the freezer being similar to the refrigeration plate temperature in the fridge. If that’s the case it may be the identical sensor. Why move it from the back as on other models? I can also see using the freezer air temperature would lead to a less frequent on/off cycle for the compressor which may well extend its life. Terrible idea for maintainability though!

I have a Beko CFP1675W Fridge Freezer for which the fridge has stopped working.
The freezer seems to work for a few days then defrosts, it is certainly not at the original freezer temp.

I have found the bad advice mentioned here https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fix-it-yourself/specific-faults/4061-beko-fridge-freezer-thermistors
and tested the control board, it was fine. I noticed a strange things, if I shorted two connectors going to the board, the fridge started to go cold again.

Having followed advice on this site I suspect it may be the fridge air sensor, although I would be happier if the freezer was working as normal. I’ve attached photos to show where this is in my fridge in case it is of help to you.
