    If this is the perception of a majority of users then all the energy saving benefits of low water levels will have been negated by the consequent increase in the number of washes. Reckon this is quite likely.

    How many times have you heard: “I don’t like this new machine, it takes 1 1/2 hours to do a wash!” ?

    Even in my “micro-business” I hear this 3 or 4 times a week.
