ParticipantIts a 2023 model thats all i can see as label is kind of damaged, the fault was not draining so thats been sorted but its finishing a wash and the door lock keeps on clicking, it will stop when you open it but odd time keeps doing this for a short time, they say its tripping electrics but cant say if thats after wash is finished, any suggestions to why this is happening.
Thanks
Andy

Moderatorcant see any tech problems about the lock apart from an NTC problem can stop door opening at the end
does not seem to fit your problem but measuring or disconnecting NTC

ParticipantThanks Dave, its a strange one, i put it on a drain and spin and at end door opened and that was it, next a rinse and spin and it started with the lock clicking for about a minute or so then it stopped, short cycle it done same, even when door open it clicks like mad.

ParticipantBy what they said it will do the wash ok its only at the end the door locks acts this way, the initial fault was draining intermitantly but that was a hair clip floating about in the pump along with white paper towel (its in a hospital unit), one said it was tripping the electrics but not if it was during wash or at end, you have experience of these places where one says one thing then another says something else;):D

ParticipantNot yet as it only came in today, it might be a wasted journey as was at it a few weeks ago and none of the staff had problems with it being noisy, i can remember it was a similar model and age to this one i have got on the go, job just says not always able to lock door

ParticipantHave you meggered the element, I’ve seen a few machines where slight earth leaks, while not causing the RCD to trip, will play up with the door lock.
May 21, 2024 at 1:19 pm #489772euro
ParticipantA new element and ntc solved the problem
