Really.?…Really?…… 😕
Tell me Ken, does your business or you personally have any connection at all with the subject matter? Please don’t answer that right here right now as that from me is purely a rhetorical question. But if it does or did I would be the first to suggest you conduct your business interests in private and not blag it out here! 😉
The same heartfelt advice goes from me to Washdoctor 8)

Can I just say for the record, that my intention for posting my experience with SF was simply for others to read and take on board incase they ever get approached by them. If someone else can refer back to this and make necassary steps to avoid this happening to them…. Great! Post justified!Adrian.
I was under the impression that this was what UKW was about. I personally agree 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} with Adrian posting this and bringing it to everyones attention and I thank him for doing so. If before he had brought this to my attention I would have jumped in with both feet had I had an offer from SF and may well have lost £XXXX`s as well.
Personally I don`t see what the problem is. If SF don`t want publicity like this then don`t shaft a member of UKW. Simple!

Yes really Martin.
I have offered no real substance, advice or anything else to what washdoctor posted or commented on events particularly as I don’t know enough about the situation to do so. What I have done is to have a pop at your comments which, I think, are just ludicrous in some ways. This is a FORUM, discussion on topical affairs is what a FORUM is all about, neither this forum or UK Whitegoods is about shutting down open and healthy conversation nor will either ever be without fair justification and discussion by the mods/admin. Hence and, let me be perfectly crystal clear for you here, this thread will not be closed just because YOU don’t like it. Nor will it be removed, nor will I stop anyone else from offering their views, comments or advice.
I will also be perfectly clear in stating that other such threads will be treated in the exact same manner. If you don’t like that you know where the exit is.
You said your piece, you got your response, others don’t agree with you including the OP from what I can see, deal with it.
Apart from which, as the owner of the business in question, it is washdoctor’s decision on what to say or not to say about HIS business in a public forum or anywhere else, not your place to dictate what he does with his business. If he or anyone else wishes to have a public debate or bring some matter involving their business into the eyes of their peers then so be it, you, I or anyone else has no right whatsoever to try to gag them in doing so.
It is washdoctor’s choice of what he thinks is best for him and for his business.
Also despite what you originally posted it hasn’t devolved into a slagging match at all, in fact the only reason this thread is getting the attention it is, is due to your comments.

Martin, the appropriate person @ SF HAS NOT AND WILL NOT RETURN OUR CALLS. Please do not accuse me of not trying to contact them to get what is owed to me! That’s ridiculous! As you are now forcing me into saying more than I wanted, the only reason we got through to the 1 person higher than richard is because the ‘paymaster’ @ distriparts couldn’t answer my questions and I were not the politest of people considering his lack of answers and he got fed up of my attitude as all he could say was “It’s just what I’ve been instructed to do”! You have no idea what efforts we have gone to just to find out why they wont pay us…… Please don’t make out that I’m full out it….. Your wrong.

Who is doing that? I certainly am not! We have no relationship with SF anymore and will never again. I am not asking ANYONE to comment, and never have so how would that be the case? As I have said twice already, there are very happy and sucsessful SF agents out there…… This is simply my experience that I’ve had with them and I have the right to air it. We all shout when things go well, and it’s happy days, is it not a 2 way street? 😕

Are you deliberately taking the mick or do you not think before you write, You have had no reason to get involved here and cause this ridiculous ongoing bickering….. 👿

All I have to say is that the company I work for allmost took on the sf contract in s,w wales but we decided that we couldnt cope with the area they wanted us to cover, SA1 to SA21 as we all ready cover a large area and It would mean we would have to put another engineer on the road and that was not an option. So I guess we had a lucky Escape. I would like to thank adrian for bringing this to our attension as if he had kept quiet none of us would be any wiser and who knows what could happen. . :rolls: :rolls:

I must agree with you there Adrian I have no reason at all to get involved. I was merely trying to offer a little advice that’s all. I’d be gutted at the thought my business could lose 7 grand over a deal like this has turned out for you my friend.
Whatever the circumstances in this case I’ve no idea? Whilst there are usually always 2 sides to every story, your side seems justifiable in every aspect you mention, no question about that and I wish you well in persuing it. 🙂
I now refer you back to my original post and what I considered sufficient advice contained within for yourself to take on board. Squadman responded in my favour and no doubt realised the point I was making. ‘Twas only when the word “allude” was mentioned that (as you have so rightly observed it then turned into “ridiculous ongoing bickering”…and from my side at least, I make my apology to you.
Knee jerk reactions to such injustice is natural, I’d be well peed off in your shoes. Telling the world about it may help you, but in my experience it only relieves the pain and does fuff all toward getting the money you’re owed. If you want advice in that department then do feel free to contact me (in private) and I’ll see what strings I can pull for you.
Have a great weekend
Regards
Martin
