As the title suggests i’ve just been to a Bosch Dishwasher sgs46e22gb/82 that won’t restart after wash. The story goes a little like this. I replaced the pcb about a month ago because of the same fault(just shows 0 after wash and can’t reset or restart program). so i went back there today with a new pcb (from connect)and the new one started fine then i reset to finish the program and now its stuck showing 0. i tried putting the other board back on and now that one is just stuck showing 0. I have no idea whats going on??!! does anyone have any bright ideas because i’m out of them!!

Sounds like a triac has blown on both boards? Probably the dispenser solenoid has blown it or some such? Have you checked the PCB’s surface components?

It all looks ok. Also I don’t think it was even on long enough to release the soap draw before I reset it. I also forgot to mention in my previous post. That it was only not resetting intermittently with the 2nd pcb. .. I was replacing it just in case and now they both are not working. Also when I put the 2nd one back on after the 3rd wouldn’t reset it instantly went to 0.

I mentioned the dispenser solenoid as a possible reason for this. Similarly other components could blow a triac or two on switch on. Are all the connector plugs located in their respective positions?

No I didn’t but I wouldn’t expect it to give that fault for an earth fault. …

I did check the old pcb for any damaged components and all looked ok. Same story with these 2. The replacement pcb was working fine but intermittently not resetting itself at the end of the programme. And the new one was working perfectly until I interrupted the programme by resetting it. The other thing I noticed on the box the “original” sticker has “gepruft” stamped over in red …

thinks thats german for megger ,
anything low on insulation can effect the pcb , my guess heater – but martin is a seasoned pro with bosch so i would go with his post 1st..

That’s German for ‘tested’ so that’s OK.

Does that mean it may of gone back to Bosch at some point and come back as a reconditioned one? Because I’ve never seen the red stamp before? .

At the risk of stating the obvious, have you remembered to switch the appliance off and back on using the on/off switch after resetting as in my experience they won’t start unless you do?

Lol yes I was there about 30 mins switching it on and off and trying to get it to reset. Thank for the thoughts though. It did cross my mind maybe tge door switch? it does have the orange child lock on it but that is a physical stopper and not an electronic one .

Sorry, I meant to also ask you about this yesterday. What exactly do you mean about it not resetting at the end of the programme? The reset is a method of stopping a programme you don’t wish continuing. Resetting once it has finished that programme does nothing nor serves any purpose. :con:
