Hello all,
Been a long time since I started this thread…but…
I have finally just taken the machine apart as there was a knocking sound (motor mounting had come free). I finally completely stripped the machine down. I did have to remove the whole assembly from the top in order to gain access. This meant removing top, side panels, door, disconnecting waste, water, sump, salt…before fianlly lifting the whole assembly off the top.
Once achieved, it was clear to see that the supressor had indeed been the cause of our problems… there was black soot over the dishwasher casing and some of the earth wiring has melted sleeving.
We haven’t had any problems with the machine recently, we moved house 2 years ago, so clearly no longer our wiring! We have a friendly local sparky who visited and all is well in ouyr electrical land! We had one or two shorts when we first arrived…but since all good!
So, if it becomes a problem again, I know where to come and what to replace and just how long it will take!
