________________I take it the Part change means the old parts were upgraded ?,,, Were the oroginal parts badly designed ? Should I change them out to the new parts ?

Just a part number change that’s all, you don’t need them anyway!
Also, I’m not sure if you read my last post on the previous page?

Hi Martin
I ran a rod thtough the waste pipe and de-gunged the intersection where it joins the sink as part of my cleaning process the other day.
re: the Instantaneous water heater sensors… removing the Tub ? I’m pretty handy, so a loose procedure would be good to get me started 🙂
Thanks

Sorry I cannot advise you further on that specific procedure, suffice to say though that it is a little tricky and really not a DIY fix and best left to us experts to call by and sort it for you. (see link below and, “Give us a click!”)

Any ideas ?

Yes! One more stab at this one……..buy a dishwasher cleaning agent and run that through an ‘Intensive’ wash with the top basket and the bottom spray arm removed whilst its flushing through. That may clean the soil sensor in the heater unit 💡

I have a Bosch Logixx machine (SGS0902GB/03), and it had this fault on and off for two years. It didn’t do it often enough to warrant a call out, but frequently enough to irritate me – normally when I’d put the dishwasher on to wash over night.
However, we shifted it into the kitchen extension a while back, and it hasn’t done it since. The main difference
It’s a great machine, with only one annoying trait – the detergent dispenser won’t click shut. So you just have to throw the tablet into the machine at the start of the cycle and hope most of it doesn’t get washed away in the prerinse.

Hi. An update… the problem has been resolved. I waited a few weeks to be sure.
What appears to have been 1 problem looks like it was 2. The initial issue seems to have been the blocked pressure chamber and tubes. The effect being that there wasn’t enough water geting in to allow the heater to work correctly (so luke warm water was being used). It then looks like this issue caused the 2nd problem to creep up over time( the dirty sensor). So once I’d fixed the pressure chamber and tubes blockage by cleaning it physically, running it through 3 times at Intensive cycle with dishwasher cleaner finally did the trick and cleaned off the water sensor.
All functions now work perfectly, the water is at the correct temp for each cycle and the cycles go down to 0 mins as they should do. Dishes come out sparkling again… Thanks for your help.
