if your on a high enough range yes its faulty
valve should read somewhere between 5000 and 7000 ohms

my multimeter doesn’t have ranges on the dial, it adjusts it automatically, so this seems conclusive. I’ll order the part and try. thanks so much, super helpful, I will update once done. Best regards Adam
