    Not very often so this is why i think the board has been damaged

    Same here, I can only remember about three occasions in my experience.
    I was asking Nomad paul though.

    Thats right man !

    Just reading the post re f21 fault disconnect motor then do a reset

    Tried a normal reset on first visit ie turn dial to six seven etc ,hoping it would just be that after i had changed valve,but no seems to work .
    I may try again disconnect valve reset pcb the re connect valve .

    Sounds like clutching at straws, to me 😉
    Bet you the valve triac’s not conducting. I don’t know that board but if you can find out which triac is involved by following the wiring, you might be lucky and find that’s all that needs doing on the board. Rest of board function is obviously unaffected.
