Martin it was a WVTI2840GB/03. Only thing I could think off is that the steel shaft was loose in the aluminium spider; didn`t feel loose though!

This is actually one of the issues I encountered with my bosch washing. It’s either the drum rubber is burnt or I recommend you call a technician.

Last night, I read a guide regarding my smoking washing machine and i was able to detect the reasons behind the problem.
