True – surprisingly enough Austin only bought the automotive arm of Wolseley, the machinery side of things kept going and became the firm we know today.

mind you chris you could have got your wheel bearings from the parts centre.
I do have to admit though to having owned a wolseley and having to drive it from kiddiminster to wolverhampton in reverse as i couldnt get any other gear(17 at the time so no money for recovery).
eventually found out t was a 50p switch that had failed.bryan

Many..many moons ago I have to admit that I was a resident in wolves for quite a number of years.Still go back a few times a year due to family ect but can still find my way wrond.
