Joking aside, there’s really no need for fancy set speeches, just tell it like it is, let your customers decide. Customers vary, your charges shouldn’t.:wink:

i was think of a answer machine
press 1 if you are a chav with any of the following
hec , cook works , micromart , haus, indesit, matsui,press2 if your a cheapscate looking for everything free of charge
press 3 if you have money
press 4 if you wany to pay for your repair
press 5 if your are in any of these postcodes ????
press 6 if you are trying to fix yourself – and you have stripped appliance down and now want me to come and put it together – free of charge ofcourse
press 7 if you are an ex engineer or diyer who want to waste an extrodingly amount of our time trying to gleem info on how to fix youself ..
press 8 if you want to tell me how to do my job and what fees we should charge
press 9 if you are confused
press 10 and i repeat only press 10 if you want us to call out and repair your appliance and have money to do so …
ps HAVE A NICE DAY GOODBYE …

Noooooo!!!! … Wasn’t your tape long enough…. You need to delete at least one of those and replace it with:“I have read it on the internet .. what is wrong is …., and it should cost me….”

We say,
Hello, we repair appliance and it costs £xxxx + vat plus parts, where do you live, okay we can call to repair XXXXday.
We dont need to find much more info as the van has the stock on it, we cover the full area and we dont charge different rates depending how near they are or whether we like the customer or its a pig of a job.
