Please, please, please…
If you need to cancel let Tracey know as there will, almost certainly, be people wanting to go that there’s no room for.
Apart from which, whether you appear or not the room has to be paid for. 😉

I was thinking it might be nice to pop up to Scotland for the Xmas do and bring the missus too – maybe make it a long weekend. Unfortunately the rooms appear to have all gone. Mind you someone mentioned £127 for one night which seems a bit expensive.
Is the “do” fri and sat? What exactly is on offer 🙂

Hi Andy,
The “do” is on the Saturday night. £127 is well worth it for a room when you see what’s on offer.

KeymasterRe: Christmas, Cool Yule in the glen…
For the people who are coming on the Friday night, there will be no food served in the Hotel that night due to the Party Nights being on, this includes Room Service. 😉
However, they have a sister Hotel about 5mins away that we can have something to eat at and they will also provide transport to take us there and back. The bus will only do one run there and back so i need to know two things:
1. Who will be wanting to go for something to eat,
2. When will you be arriving on the Friday? Here is the menu for the place, it is nothing fancy but the food is meant to be good.
If the link doesn’t work you can blame Kenneth. 😀
Thanks
Tracey

For those of us at the Hotel on the Friday, the mini bus will be leaving at 8:00pm to take us to Mr C’s, it only holds 11 people so it will do 2 runs there and back. 😉
If you are not able to make it at that time then you will have to drive yourself there, the Hotel will be able to give you directions (it is only 5mins away).
We do have a spare double room for the Saturday night so if anyone wants it PM me. 😀
Thanks
Tracey

May I thank Tracey for organising a wonderful evening?
I suspect that we all had a great time and set the world to rights into the early hours. Bryans raffle raised some £150 odd for Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital and it came as little surprise when I won a shower radio. Shaped like a Penguin. Something fishy there, methinks.
Good food, drinks and company in a splendid location – for those who didn’t attend, join us next year.
Chris.

Thanks Chris, and yes it was a good night i think everyone enjoyed themselves. 😀 Even some of Byran’s raffle prizes provided a chuckle or two. 😉
Anyway, we will be back again next year and the girl that was my contact for the bookings etc is going to try and get us discount or some kind of special deal for next year, so will let you know more nearer the time.
