IIRC John had a system that he utilised in his old CDA day’s that might cover this for us.

OK, monitoring wise, a minimum expectation would be that we would have to issue all of our members with ‘questionaires’ or ‘feedback forms’. These would have to left with customers when a repair has been carried out. These forms should be returned to the WTA, not the repirer. Also, a ‘recomendation’ is that we have a customer feedback page on the website…. But that is a ‘recomendation’.

I am being sent a sample ‘questionaire’ soon so that will give us a base to work on too.

As far as the code itself is, are there any alterations or quieries that need addressing?

Following on from Martin’s unsolicited intrusion πŸ˜‰

I have just passed the updated COP as posted above through the mincer and can only find one spelling mistake, line 9 in the ‘Aims of’ section, fullfil is missing an L at the end. For such an extensive piece of work I think that is very good indeed.

    Hi guys….

Don has been doing some work on the COP to incorporate retaillers also. The problem we have, is where retaillers sell via the internet, we have to include all stuff about distance selling etc. I don’t retail, so I have very little knowledge, but Don seems to think that it is a massive load to incorporate into the COP. Maybe we should just settle for a repairers COP? What’s the general opinion?

A Repairers COP is the first priority – but should a section on “installers” be added as they are the contact with the customers and would be the ones that leave the newly installed machines in a safe condition………or not. πŸ˜‰ We know what we all say about kitchen fitters and how we have to rectify their bodged installations. “Installers” for internet companies would be bound by the COP and see if it could be extended to kitchen fitters.

Just a thought, I do have ’em now and again……. πŸ˜€

Is it not possible to simply say that they should comply with the Distance Selling Regulations which any internet trader should be well aware of?
