john, a while back i had a t/d with similar fault, it had a one touch start button, ie non locking. tried most of the above suggestions but in desperation i changed the start button and all was well..it didn’t make sense as a fix as you would think as it had started the button had done its job!! take one with you just in case. :rolls:
