Fluff build up is caused by the drum seals failing so it will be more likely to build up again in far less time. The drum shaft and seal kit includes front and rear drum seals, new front bearing pads etc.

    Anyway, well done Sheka.
Obviously the advice given on the site, and a sensible approach has paid off. As to the build up of fluff inside the machine I have found on several occasions this is due to an ill fitting extraction tube previously fitted by experts in the factory. As you are aware now of the build up, if it has happened on your next check, have a look at the pipe through which the air passes before leaving the vent to make sure it is sitting tight on the flanges.
(these words may not be the correct descriptive ones but you will understand what I mean)
    Good luck.

As someone who has repaired many hundreds nay thousands of these machines I can say that in this type of dryer the excessive build up of fluff is almost always caused by failed drum felt seals. Whilst you do come across the odd loose internal tube this is rarely if ever due to incorrect fitting in the factory but by careless dismantling by someone attempting a repair or by heavy handed delivery drivers.

The picture here is a classic example of failed drum front felt seal.
